Journalism and Ethnography: the “long form,” the “short form,” or “Sociology on the Fly”

Ray Suarez, the veteran newsman, will provide the workshop with an account of his working life as a journalist who has engaged in “field work,” investigated and written stories from all over the world. He will share his perspective, method, and process for developing a representation that is engaging yet also accurate.
